Who we are
Founded in 2025 under the umbrella of Sun Studio Press, we’re a small, independent magazine built by writers who wanted a fair, transparent, and humane home for their work. We combine the best of human judgment with the careful, ethical use of AI tools to lighten the editorial load and keep the focus where it belongs: on great writing and thoughtful ideas.
What we publish
We welcome original fiction, essays, and creative nonfiction that explore what it means to live, question, create, and connect in a changing world. A good piece can be serious or funny, lyrical or straightforward; what matters most is clarity, insight, and heart.
How we work
Free submissions—always.
Fair pay—currently $0.04 per word, up to $200 per piece.
Transparent selection: AI helps with first-pass triage and summarization, but every accepted work is chosen and edited by human editors.
Diversity of voices: each week we read both top-ranked and randomly selected submissions to keep discovery honest and fresh.
